Isekai power-fantasy harem trash that knows what it is, doesn't take itself the least bit seriously and ends up being better off because of it.

The world is ridiculous, so are the characters, the animation is flat & lifeless, the character design is generic harem bimbo stuff, the characters themselves are 2 dimensional at best, the music is whatever, the plot is all over the place & predictable at the same time, and yet the experience as a whole was enjoyable, mainly because the protagonist is an asshole who does whatever he wants with no regard of what's right or virtuous, failing upward in the process.

Generic Isekai Harem anime with 1 dimensional characters and a revenge plot without the revenge.

Imagine being framed for the worst crime imaginable and having your reputation destroyed across the whole country while nobody believes you. Nobody wants to work with you and on top of that, you're restricted to only using a shield, but are nevertheless expected to fight off waves of monsters.
