Not sure how reliable this information is but oh well.

Source - http://www.facebook.com/ddmf.biz

- MegaUpload - Closed.
- FileServe - Closing does not sell premium.
- FileJungle - Deleting files. Locked in the U.S..
- UploadStation - Locked in the U.S..
- FileSonic - the news is arbitrary (under FBI investigation).
- VideoBB - Closed! would disappear soon.
- Uploaded - Banned U.S. and the FBI went after the owners who are gone.
- FilePost - Deleting all material (so will leave executables, pdfs, txts)
- Videoz - closed and locked in the countries affiliated with the USA.
- 4shared - Deleting files with copyright and waits in line at the FBI.
- MediaFire - Called to testify in the next 90 days and it will open doors pro FBI
-Org torrent - could vanish with everything within 30 days "he is under criminal investigation"
- Network Share mIRC - awaiting the decision of the case to continue or terminate Torrente everything.
- Koshiki - operating 100% Japan will not join the SOUP / PIPA
- Shienko Box - 100% working china / korea will not join the SOUP / PIPA
- ShareX BR - group UOL / BOL / iG say they will join the SOUP / PIPA

Japan, China and Korea said NO to the FBI and that even if laws are passed in the USA will not have any value within the sovereignty of their countries!

Wtf? I honestly didn't expect a chain reaction like this. The FBI and what not must be hell serious. How many of these popular DDL sites are located outside the US?

Ahh literally falling faster than domino's. This is exactly what the FBI wanted. At least this will give some time for the encoders of this site to finish their many projects ;) eh Jo

I'm not sure how I should take it :serious: Stupid sarcasm?
If it's not like that, then I apologize, but otherwise: I lost all my files and I'm taking this filehost dilemma and my findings really seriously.

looks like anime downloading is going to be ... well erased as an option for us, looks like its up to the torrent community to get anything now and that means I cant download while I am on the main campus of my university

Yea. That sucks hard.
Speaking of torrents, one big con will also be that we have to decide whether we want to use our bandwidth for seeding AniPas's encodes, or seeding ISOs for sites like ADC in order to earn points for new anime to encode.

Maybe we should consider sharing our ISOs for AniPas as well in order to mitigate that conflict.

i am set on ADC and if anyone need to borrow my account i might lend it to ya if i trust you. i have ~2TB worth of BD torrents to download before i get below a 1.0 ratio on that site.

Looks like the torrent sites like nyaa might be the way to go, or the irc channel until that shuts down
