Well now that we've got the user bar at the bottom of the page that moves with the page rather than stationary at the top it seems to cover up crap that needs to be seen at the far bottom. Could possibly do with some padding at the bottom of the page so it can be scrolled far enough to see the stuff that is currently being hidden (at least partially such as the mark all forums read link etc).

I have to agree, this would be very useful.

Currently, the 'Change Theme' button (and various others) are partially covered by the bar.

Oh sorry didn't notice that. I'll fix it and tell pooba to put in the code.

I would also like to point out that the pop-out Notification box will expand downwards the first time you open it, rendering the notifications within unreadable. This issue seems to correct itself afterward, and only occurs once per page.

I think that is to do with your cache. The browser cached the old user bar so it expands it like the old one used to. But as it caches the new user bar, the problem is fixed. Not sure though. Can you clear your browser cache and see if this is still happening?

I cleared my cache, but to no avail; the notification window still expands incorrectly. For the sake of reference, I'm using Google Chrome.

I'm getting this issue as well. Even clearing cache did nothing.
On the old board I had this same issue. Using the latest FireFox (hate Chrome and all it's bad tracking shit).

OK, it kinda works. what happens is, at least for me, when i first open my notifications it has to load the list and before loading is finished it decides that there is noting to show and it will show no notifications. but when i click it for the second time without refreshing the page since the notification do not update this time as it already has the notifications it will then properly display all the notifications list.

so i do not know if there is a way to delay moving the popup until after the update or not but it is annoying. i tested this on both FF and Chrome

It's fixed now (for me at least lol). Tested in Chrome, Firefox and Opera. Firefox needed a 2nd refresh before it worked. It won't work on IE older than 7 (or was it 8? lol, who uses that crap anyway).
Don't like the way it was done. Kinda forcing the browser. Wish I could edit the AJAX codes instead, the right way to fix this. But I don't know where they are.
