So since sometime yesterday, Firefox has started freezing every couple of page loads on AP for about a minute. Did anything change on the website in the past day or two?

It fine for me, download ccleaner and run it + delete firefox history (everything) including offline website data and site preferences. I have the latest Firefox version as well.

If I have 2 lines, I might as well fill them up. :P

Damnit, I hate having to do that sort of thing, I have about 4 years of website history stored on here, lol. Shall give it a while before resorting to that.

Does it happen on any specific pages? ie. pages with lots of videos (specifically the MLP thread).

It is fine for a few minutes, and is fine now. But it was happening on the Clannad thread a lot earlier.

EDIT: Just happened twice while trying to access that thread and once just after closing that thread's tab. Strange stuff.

EDIT 2: Scratch that, it keeps happening all over the site, but only this site.

I would just backup your favorites list, and then just remove and install a fresh version, btw are you using Aurora because it some times does that to me, but not very often

see this is another reason i like chrome. i can sync everything to my gmail and all i have to do is login on chrome on ANY pc and it will remember everything for me, and i mean just about everything.

and no i am not afraid of them knowing. they already have sooo much data that they have no idea what to do with it all and the only effective thing they can do is make trend lines.

Firefox has sync too... built-in since like version 4, before that as an addon.

chrome is not as fast as aurora ... and I like the design of aurora a hell a lot better than chrome, I also have a hatred of Google,

Turns out it does happen on other sites as well, if it keeps happening, I will look into it more closely. Thanks for the suggestions though everyone.
